		<description>Nah, the fault could lie almost on any level of hierarchy. It could be a mandate from publisher&#039;s side, a &quot;strong suggestion&quot; from marketing department, an artistic decision or just a honest-to-god &quot;ohshit we&#039;re missing something and we have no time, damnit, quick, hire some render monkeys!&quot;. 

In a perfect world, it&#039;s taken into account at 1:1 importance level with gameplay during preproduction and design phase. And continued during level design, and so on. :)</description>

I totally agree about the cutscene interrupting a good piece of action. It&#039;s worse in games that give you a dreadfuly long cutscene before a boss fight, and a save point about half a minute before the cutscene. You get into the action, get interrupted and then have to deal with something that actually requires you to be in &quot;the zone&quot; of the game...</description>
